Brexit: The Naked Truth

On Monday 14 January 2019, on the eve of the long awaited parliamentary vote designed to sign and seal Britain's exit from the European Union, Victoria took to the stage to demonstrate how Brexit leaves Britain naked. She began by undressing whilst simultaneously explaining how Britain has been sold the emperor's new clothes, before detailing (naked of course) how Brexit will affect the British economy, along with the value of a free, open and tolerant society that is welcoming and open to those from abroad - a society of the kind that Brexit puts at risk. After her naked lecture, Victoria invited the Cambridge community to sign her naked body, creating a living and breathing human petition against Brexit - one that serves to illustrate the way in which Brexit is not just about money; it is about real lives, including those of more than 3 million EU citizens within the U.K. whose lives hang in the balance, and the freedom of every British citizen to be able to pursue educational, work and personal opportunities beyond the place into which we are born.
